Teresa Burrelsman

After over 10 years of consulting on national and international projects and programs,
Teresa Burrelsman founded Eco Via Consulting to focus on regenerative, bio-regional development and deep green educational programs. She
has a technical, building science background, and enjoys bringing science and aesthetics together to create beautiful and sustainable
places.
Teresa has worked as a sustainable design consultant, facilitator and educator. Her technical expertise includes climate
design, energy efficiency and design modeling, daylighting, and low-impact development. She has used integrated design methods to
achieve aggressive energy reduction targets and ground breaking projects.
In previous roles she has led sustainability programs
for a major architecture firm as well as multiple government organizations. She has been a technical consultant to the US Green Building
Council, and to King County, WA, the City of Seattle, and the Department of Transportation. She has also worked with numerous private
sector developers, in the U.S., China and the Middle East, as well as with major corporations including Microsoft and Starbucks.
